Background
This Middle Eastern investment bank wanted a workplace strategy that would enable them to transition from a siloed and hierarchical organization to one that would be more collaborative, flexible, entrepreneurial, and equitable.

We created a series of recommendations that spanned company processes, culture, technology, and real estate which are currently being piloted across its EMEA offices.
What I did
I led the exploratory research phase which included conducting interviews, workshops, and surveys with 1,500+ employees. This included synthesizing 50,000+ data points to create strategic recommendations and a pilot roadmap with measurable outcomes.
Discovery Research
Understanding the problem space

After 2 weeks of workshops, interviews, and surveys, I synthesized the results to create an understanding of the existing employee experience. This included a custom dashboard that enabled the client to visualize employee productivity and satisfaction spatially.

Strategy Handoff
presenting findings

Using the research findings, we identified opportunities to improve the current employee experience and attract new talent, summarizing these into strategic pillars.

Given the widespread impact of our work, stakeholder communication had to be carefully managed. For every checkpoint, I made 3 versions of our deliverables targeted at employees, the steering committee, and executive directors.

Next Steps
Making it real

The team was given the go ahead to pilot the culture and real estate transformations at the client's headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

Although I was not part of the full implementation, I helped scope and translate the strategy into an interior design concept.
